While it was a bit awkward in terms of communication (or lack thereof) of the two main characters throughout the story, there were enough twists and surprises to overcome that, and there were at least explanations of HER thinking to explain why she said or did (or didn't say or do) something a different way. The author did a pretty good job of conveying the heroine's conflicted feelings. I really liked the fact that the heroine stayed committed to her husband in spite of temptation. Also loved the resolutions of the loose ends---everything was worked out well in the end, I thought. Will definitely read more by this author!Product details

This was a delightful book to read. I enjoyed Connor and Joanna their characters were well developed and likeable. I liked the humor in it also. This is a new author for me and I totally enjoyed this book. I really recommend this book if you feel like reading something light
I’m always so sad to see the characters go! I wish every book was in a never ending series!! I wish it kept a tad longer to find out more about Connor & Joanna. Second book maybe??? Perfect ending to pick back up with a second book!!
I absolutely loved this book. I loved her faithfulness despite the circumstances. I loved the way the different loose ends tied up. I just simply loved it!
This story had me from page one. Such a fun unique sweet wonderful story. Fell in love with the characters, truly loved every page. Highly recommend. This is the second book I have read by this author, and will have to read everything by her. She is incredible.
i really enjoyed reading this book. It was full of interesting characters, great places and kept you wondering where the story was going and if Connor and Anna/Joan would meet again. Lots of humor that kept me smiling while I read this book. A great read ladies.
This book is not perfect. At first, I did not think I would be able to finish it. The main character starts out very whiny, self-centered, self-impressed, and spoiled (which is the whole point). Her evolution as the book goes on completely redeemed the story for me. I sincerely recommend this as a light read (don't take it too seriously!) on a plane or the beach, and give the characters a chance to come through. I wasn't impressed with the plot synopsis presented by , but the reviews encouraged me to actually take the plunge. Listen to the good reviews. If you can suffer through an insufferable character for a little while, I think it's worth it. The journey is worth it. I don't think you'll regret it if you go in with eyes wide open!
Short review. A light, funny, summer, adventure, beach read. The banter and the chemistry between Joanna and Connor will have you rooting for them to eventually become a couple. I like how Joanna stayed loyal to her husband despite the fact that 1)she didn't know if he was dead or alive and 2)her growing attraction to Connor, and that he didn't try to push her into anything. I didn't like how Connor disappeared for much of the second half of the book but his entrance back into the story will put a smile on your face and have you wishing for more chapters.
